Foil stamping is an effective way to enhance
almost any image. This process uses a heated die
and pressure to create a forced marriage of paper
and foil. Foil is a thin flexible sheet of pigment
that comes in an ever expanding spectrum of
colors, tints, textures and finishes. The effects
can range from colorful and dramatic, to subtle
and understated. If you have not seen some of
the latest foil options, you will be amazed at the
variety offered.

There  are some restrictions and guidelines
to keep in mind. Stamping tends to fill in
across narrow spaces and does not lend
itself to reversal or small details like very
delicate type. The stamped impression will
appear flat, therefore contrasting with the
surface texture of the paper. Also, foil
stamping can be combined with the
embossing process to produce a unique and
creative combination. Be sure to visit our
